You are an awesome people to work for and you run a fantastic organisation, I really respect your opinions and judgement - a tutor

UK Young Autism Project’s Fully-Staffed Core Programmes provide a centre of excellence in treatment and staff clinical training. All staff members receive extensive hands-on training and also receive training in the theory and research of the UCLA model of Applied Behaviour Analysis. ABA tutor training and quality control meets the UCLA Multi-Site Young Autism Project protocol.

The organisation promotes career development; talented tutors may progress to become senior tutors. Senior tutors undergo a series of classes and training, and may progress to train to become ABA programme consultants.

We employ all ABA tutors working on our Fully-Staffed Core Programmes. The most likely candidates are usually, but not exclusively, psychology or education graduates.

An applicant does not need to have special credentials or previous experience to be a good tutor. We believe that all the procedures we employ can be mastered by most persons. Dependability and open-mindedness are important characteristics in an applicant.

UK Young Autism Project has been directly involved in the creation of the UK ABA Education Competencies Framework.

If you are invited to an interview, you will be required to bring the Child Protection and Safeguarding forms with you.
